The entire five years of the M.D. programme is conducted at USM-KLE IMP, Belgaum, India .under the expert tutelage of USM- KLE faculty and the competent governance of the USM -KLE faculty members.
After the completion of five years of training and the evaluation exercises, successful candidates are awarded the M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) degree by Universiti Sains Malaysia.
The M.D. degree from USM-KLE IMP, Belgaum, awarded by University Sains Malaysia, is recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council and World Health Organization (W.H.O).
